Through my return to Uganda, I can testify that the Lord provides.
Within a short time I was able to raise the funds needed to return.
I am also thankful for the Lord's protection, as just before my return
to Uganda I
travelled from the Eastern Cape to the Western Cape by bus. During the
overnight trip the
bus collided with a kudu. The bus was still drivable and we carried
onto Oudsthoorn, where
the bus company decided we should wait for a replacement bus.
Eventually the bus arrived
from Cape Town, but then the new bus refused to start. This called for
a mechanic to come
and work on the engine.
I safely arrived in Uganda on 10 April. I was able to get to Kampala
for the overseas vote
of the South African Elections.
In my second week of being in Uganda, I attended the Basic
Communication Workshop. The next week I took part in a consultation
called CRIT. This involves YWAM Communicators, discussing how to
improve communication in the organization. For both these weeks
members came from South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, Argentina, Czech,
Switzerland, UK, USA and Asia.
Upcoming plans are to attend YWAM' East Africa Regional Staff
Conference at the July in
Arusha, Tanzania.
Thank-you for your prayers and support
